Hand-embroidered diamond weave cashmere pashmina in a two-tone fabric, one side is teal green and the reverse is a warm brown, beautifully complimenting each other. Edged with a simple embroidered border in pink and white. The warp thread is natural undyed brown cashmere; the weft on one side is dark orange and on the reverse side, a warm brown. Warp is the thread that runs the length of the fabric, this is held stationary on the loom and also forms the soft fringe on the ends, while the weft is drawn through being pulled over and under the warp.

The shawl will be supplied with a book entitled 'The Kashmir Shawl', which will create a backdrop for you of the 'landscape and lives' where these shawls are created.
